The Compass
Virtual Calming Room
The Compass Virtual Calming Room is a place for students, families, and staff to find tools and strategies for managing emotions and feelings, and a place to find tools to help build our resilience.
When things get stressful and situations are out of our control, it is normal to feel scared, confused, overwhelmed, angry, alone, grateful, or completely calm. You might feel many things throughout the days or all at once - like being upset that an event was canceled, but also happy that you can wear pajamas all day.
Your feelings are normal! Please know that the Compass staff is here to support you!
If you are a CAVA student, parent, or staff member who is seeking counseling or mental health support, please contact Care Solace at https://caresolace.com/site/caliva/ or by calling 1-(888) 515-0595.
