HOW MANY HOURS SHOULD MY STUDENT BE ONLINE?
The student is required to log into their online classes MONDAY - FRIDAY before 12 pm. These sessions are known as CLASS CONNECTS. Online time frames depend on the class connects your student will be required to attend and the assignments they will have to complete daily. The average time a student is in class is between 4-6 hours (same as a typical school day at a brick and mortar school). See More...

What are class connects?
Class Connects are "Live" Sessions your student will have to attend virtual meetings with their teacher. Most of these sessions are "required". The LC must ensure the student understands their daily/weekly plan. The daily/weekly plan is created by the teacher to ensure that the student stays on track with their assignments. Incorporating the weekly plan and using it to create a "daily agenda" that your student will follow daily is helpful and it will ensure they complete their assignments on time.
